Message	Because power is a measurement of work done over time, HP is simply an expression of the rate of TQ delivery. TQ is the actual measurement of force that the engine delivers. So, yes, it's TQ that breaks the wheels loose. When your turbos spool up and force high boost into the intake, the combustion intesity increases, raising the force applied to the crank, producing more TQ.
